If these students want to improve their grades, your guidance will simplify the learning process and help them experience the satisfaction of doing well in school. They will appreciate your interest and show a willingness to improve because you care enough about them as an individual to find a solution. In other words, don’t hesitate to talk to your students face-to-face about their homework problems. Regardless of the reason, these students will need some extra attention and guidance if you want them to succeed academically.Ī personal touch is usually the best approach. It may just be that they didn’t understand the assignment and/or were too busy to complete it.
This is not always a sign of laziness, apathy, or lack of interest in the subject matter.
